REBEL THRUSH
This Rebel Bird was illustrated by me to add our Brave Little State and the state's official bird, the small-but-mighty Hermit Thrush, to the growing movement to stand in solidarity with Minnesota and is an anti-authoritarian symbol to protest federal immigration enforcement operations. The design is based off of the Star Wars Rebel Alliance insignia and a nod to the Mockingjay symbol in The Hunger Games. You may have seen a slew of other states’ rebel bird insignias around social media, many of which are created by generative AI (boo! hiss!), however mine was hand-drawn by me, a Vermonter!, in Procreate.

All of my stickers are brainstormed, drawn, and created by me, a real live human artist! My designs start as either digital illustrations in Procreate or pen and ink sketchbook drawings... no AI or Canva to be found here. These are my original illustrations!
